Here is what you need

Take out Tools:

  1. 9 x 13 baking pan
  2. Mixing bowls
  3. Measuring cups and spoons

 

You will Need for Yeast rolls:

  • 1 Cup warm water.
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (or 3 teaspoons)
  • 3 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 Cup sugar

Filling

  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup butter – softened

Topping

  • 1/2 Cup (4 ounces) softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter – softened
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup powdered sugar

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Rolls

Equipment

  • 1 9 x 13 baking pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Warm water
  • 1 packet dry active yeast (or 3 teaspoons)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 3 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 Cup sugar

For Filling

  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup butter (1 stick) softened

Topping (optional)

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese - softenedd
  • 1/4 Cup butter - softened
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

For Yeast

  • In a small bowl, add a yeast packet to 1 cup warm water. Add 2 teaspoons sugar. Stir. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix flour with 1/4 cup sugar. Add the yeast mixture in the middle. Stir. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Place dough on floured board. Knead dough for a few minutes. Spread dough out to make a large rectangle.
  • Make filling: Spread the brown sugar filling over dough.
  • Roll dough into a log. Cut into 12-14 rolls. Place in greased pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Bake in pre-heated 400F oven for 15 minutes.

Filling

  • Make filling by mixing all filling ingredients together in a bowl.

Topping

  • Mix all topping ingredients together to make a creamy spreadable topping.
