Everyone loves reindeers. Kids know that without reindeers, Santa would never make it to their homes on Christmas Eve.

Let’s have some fun decorating reindeer cupcakes. You can name each one. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and, of course, Rudolph

Here are three super fun and easy decorating ideas. All the supplies you can get at your local stores.

Use a cake mix or one of our cupcake recipes. 

You can make your own chocolate frosting, but the store-bought tubs work great too.

Here is what you need

You Need:

Reindeer #1:

  • Baked cupcakes
  • Tub of chocolate frosting
  • Mini candy canes
  • Edible eyes
  • Red candy for nose (red Jelly beans)

Reindeer #2:

  • Baked cupcakes
  • Tub of chocolate frosting
  • Mini candy canes
  • Edible eyes
  • Red candy for nose (red Jelly beans)
  • Vanilla wafer cookies

Reindeer #3:

  • Baked cupcakes
  • Tub of chocolate frosting
  • Mini candy canes
  • Edible eyes
  • Red candy for nose (red Jelly beans)
  • Graham crackers
How to Make:
  1. Bake and cool cupcakes.
  2. Put chocolate frosting in a microwave safe bowl. Melt frosting slightly for 15 seconds till soupy. 
  3. Dip cupcakes in the frosting. (watch video to see how). Let cool.
  4. Choose the design you want and decorate. 
  5. Use chocolate frosting to attach the candies to the vanilla wafers and graham crackers.
