- 1/2 Cup butter (1 sticks) room temperature
- 3/4 Cup sugar
- 1 large egg - room temperature
- 1 1/2 Cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
How to Make:Preheat oven to 375°F.Mix room temperature butter, sugar and egg thoroughly in a large bowl.Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture.Chill dough in a bowl for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, mix 3 tablespoons sugar, and 3 teaspoons cinnamon in a small bowl.Roll the dough into balls and roll into cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on un-greased cookie sheet (parchment paper), and bake 7-10 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
